Custom fastener projects — from hex bolts to stud bolts, flange bolts and OEM spring hose clamps — usually begin with drawing review. The supplier checks dimensions, thread type, material grade, tolerance, surface treatment and the most suitable manufacturing route.
After manufacturability is confirmed, the next steps are quotation, sampling, dimensional inspection and customer approval before mass production.
Clear version control is important. Each drawing revision should carry a date, material requirement and approval record so production and inspection teams work from the same specification.
