65Mn spring hose clamps (also called constant-tension or spring band clamps) are formed from spring steel strip and zinc plated for automotive coolant, fuel, vacuum, breather and light equipment hose connections. They apply a continuous spring force around the hose to help maintain sealing under vibration and temperature change.

Unlike worm-drive hose clamps, spring clamps are selected by hose outside diameter and open/close profile rather than a screw-adjusted range. RFQs should confirm hose OD, band width, opening style, material (65Mn), coating, working temperature and quantity. Common sizes typically fall in the 6-50 mm OD band depending on the OEM series.

Zinc-plated 65Mn spring clamps are the mainstream choice for passenger-vehicle and light-machinery hose lines. They are not structural fasteners and should not be used as pressure-rated flange clamps or safety-critical retainers unless the project specification approves the clamp type. For corrosive or marine hose service, consider stainless worm-drive clamps as an alternative product line.
