Product Description & Key Specifications
Nylon insert lock nuts use a nylon ring to create prevailing torque on the mating bolt thread, helping resist loosening in vibration-prone general assemblies. This range is supplied in 10B21 / 35K with Grade 8 / 10 options to DIN 985 / DIN 982 in M4-M16 sizes.
DIN 985 low-type and DIN 982 high-type lock nuts are selected by available thread engagement, joint design and height requirement. Nylon insert nuts are useful for automotive accessories, EV brackets, railway panels, machinery guards and equipment covers, but they should not be used where operating temperature or chemicals can damage the nylon insert.
Zinc plated finish provides general corrosion protection. RFQs should confirm standard, size, grade, nut height type, coating, mating bolt grade, installation temperature, reuse policy and certificate requirements.
