Product Description

Product Description & Key Specifications

Closed-end blind rivets use a cup-shaped body that retains the mandrel end after setting. Installation is performed from one side, making them suitable for enclosures, tubes, panels and covers where rear access is unavailable.

The closed body improves resistance to dust, splash and fluid passage through the rivet center compared with an open-end rivet. Final sealing performance also depends on hole diameter, grip selection, installation quality and any additional sealant specified by the joint design.

FAQ

Common Questions Before RFQ

Are closed-end blind rivets completely waterproof?

They resist ingress better than open-end rivets, but complete sealing depends on hole size, tolerances, installation and additional sealant where required.

How is the grip range selected?

The published grip range must include the total thickness of every layer being joined.

What information is needed for an RFQ?

Send diameter, length or grip range, panel thickness, hole diameter, head style, material, sealing requirement and quantity.

Need closed-end blind rivets for panels and enclosures?

Send diameter, grip range, hole diameter, ingress requirement and quantity for a quotation on AlA/St closed-end blind rivets.
