Square weld nuts are projection welding nuts used to create strong internal threads on sheet metal panels, brackets and stamped components. DIN 928 square weld nuts are common in automotive, EV, machinery and appliance sheet metal assemblies where access for a loose nut is not practical.
This product is supplied in low carbon steel with Grade 6 / 8 options, M4-M12 thread range and zinc plated finish. The weld projections, thread position, nut height, square size and coating must support reliable projection welding and subsequent assembly with bolts or screws.
