Adhesive anchor rods are supplied for post-installed concrete anchoring systems where a threaded rod is bonded into drilled concrete using approved chemical adhesive. Material options include Carbon Steel, 40Cr and 42CrMo with 5.8 / 8.8 / 10.9 grade references.
These rods are used for retrofit fixing, equipment foundations, baseplates, pipe supports and structural attachments when the anchor design allows chemical anchoring. Procurement should confirm anchor rod diameter, embedment depth, rod length, thread pitch, chisel or flat end requirement, adhesive system and approval document.
Zinc plated finish is common for general indoor anchoring, HDG is selected for outdoor corrosion protection, and zinc flake can be used where controlled coating thickness and corrosion resistance are required. Anchor performance depends on concrete condition, hole cleaning, adhesive approval and installation procedure.
