Product Description
Fully threaded rods are continuous-thread bars used for construction support systems, pipe hangers, MEP installation, solar PV mounting, equipment fixing and general industrial assemblies. They are supplied to DIN 975 / DIN 976 and ISO 898-1 reference in Q235, 35CrMo, SCM435 or 4140, with grade 4.8, 8.8 or 10.9 options according to load requirement.
The correct threaded rod choice depends on strength grade, diameter, bar length, thread pitch, coating and matching nut or washer requirements. Low-carbon Q235 grade 4.8 rods are practical for light-duty support and general fastening, while 35CrMo, SCM435 and 4140 grade 8.8 / 10.9 rods are used where higher tensile performance is required.
Zinc plated rods are common for indoor construction and equipment assemblies, HDG threaded rods support outdoor or exposed steelwork, and black oxide is used for selected machinery or controlled environments. Common procurement models include M6, M8, M10, M12, M16 and M20 rods in 1 m, 2 m or 3 m lengths, or cut-to-length pieces by drawing.

Selection
M8, M10, M12 and M16 threaded rods are common for pipe hangers, cable trays, HVAC supports and suspended construction systems. Zinc plated finish is often selected for indoor installation.
Construction fastenersHDG fully threaded rods can be used in outdoor brackets, support frames and solar mounting accessories where corrosion protection is required. Confirm grade and coating thickness for exposed environments.
Renewable energy fastenersGrade 8.8 / 10.9 all-thread rods in 35CrMo, SCM435 or 4140 are selected for machinery supports, adjustment rods and higher-strength industrial assemblies.

FAQ
Both are commonly referenced for metric threaded rods. The correct dimensional and delivery requirement should be confirmed against the buyer drawing or project standard.
Grade 4.8 is used for light-duty general support. Grades 8.8 and 10.9 are selected when higher tensile strength is required.
Yes. HDG is available for outdoor applications, but nut fit and coating thickness should be checked because galvanizing adds coating build-up on the thread.
Yes. Threaded rods can be supplied as standard bars or cut-to-length pieces when diameter, length, grade, finish and tolerance are confirmed.
Yes. Fully threaded rods can be supplied with compatible hex nuts, flat washers, spring washers or locking nuts according to the assembly requirement.
Send diameter, length, grade, material, finish, quantity and matching nut/washer needs. We can quote DIN 975 / DIN 976 threaded rods in standard lengths or cut-to-length project packages.
