Product Description

Product Description & Key Specifications

GFRP composite hex nuts are reinforced non-metallic nuts designed for use with composite bolts, threaded rods and insulating fastener systems. They provide electrical isolation and corrosion resistance where metal nuts are not suitable or where a complete non-conductive assembly is required.

GFRP / PA66-GF material offers better stiffness than unfilled plastic nuts while remaining non-metallic. These nuts are used in renewable energy equipment, electrical support frames, composite structures, corrosion-prone outdoor assemblies and applications where galvanic interaction with metal hardware must be reduced.

Because composite nuts do not behave like steel nuts, selection should confirm thread size, engagement length, torque limit, mating bolt material, UV exposure, temperature and load requirement. Project sizes can follow ISO 4032 / DIN 934 reference geometry or OEM drawings.

FAQ

Common Questions Before RFQ

What are GFRP composite hex nuts used for?

They are used in non-conductive and corrosion-resistant composite fastener assemblies, usually with GFRP bolts and washers.

Can GFRP nuts replace steel nuts?

Only when the joint is designed for composite fasteners. They are not direct substitutes for steel nuts in high-preload structural joints.

Are UV-stabilized composite nuts available?

Yes. UV-stabilized GFRP / PA66-GF material can be specified for outdoor renewable energy and electrical equipment applications.

What sizes can be supplied?

Project sizes are available by drawing, with common RFQs around M8, M10, M12, M16 and M20 composite fastener systems.

What information should be included in the RFQ?

Send thread size, nut dimensions, material, UV requirement, mating bolt, torque/load condition, quantity and certificate requirements.

Need GFRP composite hex nuts?

Send thread size, nut drawing, composite material, UV requirement, mating bolt/washer details and quantity. We can quote GFRP composite nuts for renewable energy, electrical isolation and corrosion-resistant assemblies.
