Product Description
Pan head machine screws are threaded screws used with tapped holes, weld nuts, blind rivet nuts or hex nuts in panels, covers, brackets and equipment assemblies. This range uses C1022 steel with 4.8 / 8.8 grade options to DIN 7985, ISO 7045 and SAE J933 references.
Unlike self tapping screws, machine screws require a mating internal thread. Selection should confirm head diameter, drive recess, thread pitch, length, strength grade, coating and mating thread type. Pan head form is commonly chosen where a raised, neat bearing head is acceptable on the surface.
Zinc plated finish is used for general corrosion protection in automotive interiors, railway panels, equipment covers, electrical housings and light brackets. Common RFQs include M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 screws with flat washers or blind rivet nuts.

FAQ
No. These are machine screws and need a tapped hole, nut, weld nut or blind rivet nut. Use self tapping screws where the screw forms the mating thread.
Common sizes are M2-M8 with project-specific lengths.
Zinc plated finish is available for general corrosion protection.
Yes. Pan head screws can be supplied with flat washers, rivet nuts, weld nuts or hex nuts.
