Product Description
Titanium hex bolts in Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V are lightweight corrosion-resistant bolts used in aerospace, marine, medical and renewable energy equipment where weight reduction and alloy performance matter. They follow ASTM F468 / ASTM B348 material references and ISO 4014 dimensional reference where applicable.
Grade 5 titanium provides higher strength than commercially pure titanium while remaining much lighter than steel and highly corrosion resistant in many environments. It is selected for brackets, covers, marine hardware, equipment frames and specialized assemblies, but it should not be substituted for steel high-strength bolts without checking design load and torque behavior.
M5-M16 titanium hex bolts are supplied with anodized finish for identification, appearance and surface condition. RFQs should confirm diameter, length, thread length, grade, anodizing requirement, mating nut/washer material, galling control and certificate scope.

FAQ
They are used where lightweight, corrosion-resistant and relatively high-strength titanium fasteners are required.
Yes. Titanium bolts are commonly selected for seawater and marine service because their stable oxide film provides strong resistance in many chloride environments. Grade 2 is often selected primarily for corrosion resistance, while Grade 5 provides higher mechanical strength. Final selection should still check temperature, crevices, reducing chemicals, galvanic contact with carbon steel or aluminum, matching nut material, electrical isolation and anti-galling requirements.
Not automatically. Titanium has different stiffness, strength and torque behavior, so substitution should be checked by engineering.
Anodized finish is available for appearance, identification and surface requirements.
Yes. Titanium hex bolts can be supplied with titanium hex nuts and flat washers.
