Product Description
Stainless scissor anchors use a folding wing, scissor arm or toggle-style mechanism that passes through an opening and expands behind the substrate. The opened wing creates rear-side bearing, making this anchor type useful for hollow panels, hollow block, facade cavities, ceiling service supports and one-side-access installation points.
SS304 / A2 options suit indoor and moderate outdoor service, while SS316 / A4 is preferred for exterior facades, coastal buildings, humid equipment spaces and chloride exposure. Project supply can be made to OEM drawing with controlled wing span, grip range, screw length, washer arrangement and surface finish.
Scissor anchors are normally selected for light to medium duty support rather than heavy structural anchorage. Capacity depends on panel material, panel thickness, rear clearance, edge distance, load direction and wing geometry, so safety-critical applications should be confirmed by test data, project approval or engineering calculation.
