Product Description
DIN 934 / ISO 4032 stainless hex nuts are supplied in SS304 / SS316 for corrosion-resistant bolted assemblies using stainless hex bolts, threaded rods and washer sets. Common supply range is M3-M36 with passivated finish, metric coarse thread and project documentation such as CoC, material certificate or dimensional report on request.
Stainless hex nuts are used as the standard mating component for DIN 931 / ISO 4014 partial-thread bolts, DIN 933 / ISO 4017 full-thread bolts and stainless threaded rods. Correct nut selection should confirm thread size, material pairing, strength requirement, surface condition and whether flat washers or lock washers are required by the joint design.
SS304 / A2 is suitable for general indoor and outdoor stainless assemblies, while SS316 / A4 is preferred for marine, coastal, washdown and chloride-exposed environments. Passivation helps improve the stainless surface condition after forming and tapping, especially when nuts are supplied as bolt-nut-washer sets for export projects.

Selection
DIN 934 / ISO 4032 stainless nuts are commonly supplied with M8, M10 and M12 stainless bolts for rails, clamps and bracket connections. SS304 / A2 suits general outdoor PV projects; SS316 / A4 is preferred for coastal solar farms.
Renewable energy fastenersSS316 / A4 hex nuts are preferred for salt spray, wet outdoor service and chloride exposure. Typical marine RFQs include M10, M12 and M16 stainless hex nuts matched with A4 bolts and flat washers.
Marine fastenersM12, M16, M20 and M24 stainless hex nuts are common for exposed frames, railings, facade brackets and outdoor equipment structures. Confirm washer choice and locking method for service vibration.
Construction fastenersM6, M8, M10 and M12 stainless hex nuts support covers, access panels, brackets and non-primary equipment joints where corrosion resistance and maintenance access matter.
Railway fastenersSS316 / A4 passivated hex nuts are suitable for pumps, pipe supports, stainless skids and washdown equipment. Confirm crevice risk, cleanability and certificate requirements before ordering.

FAQ
DIN 934 and ISO 4032 are common references for hex nuts. ISO 4032 is widely used as the international standard reference, while many drawings still call out DIN 934. Confirm the required standard, height, thread and marking before ordering.
SS304 / A2 is suitable for general corrosion-resistant indoor and outdoor assemblies. SS316 / A4 is preferred for marine, coastal, washdown, chemical or chloride-exposed environments.
Common RFQ sizes include M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20 and M24 stainless hex nuts. Final thread pitch, standard, material, washer pairing and certificate requirements should be confirmed by drawing or purchase specification.
Yes. Stainless hex nuts can be supplied alone or as bolt-nut-washer sets with DIN 931, DIN 933, ISO 4014, ISO 4017 or drawing-based stainless bolts.
