Product Description
Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 hex head bolts are supplied for high-chloride, marine, offshore and corrosion-critical structures where standard 304 / 316 stainless may not provide enough pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. Standards include DIN 931, DIN 933, ISO 4014, ISO 4017 and ASTM F593 project references.
Duplex 2205 corresponds commonly to UNS S32205 / S31803, while Super Duplex 2507 corresponds to UNS S32750. These alloys provide higher strength than common austenitic stainless grades and improved chloride resistance, but material selection should consider temperature, environment, galvanic compatibility and project corrosion class.
Common supply range is M12-M36, with partial-thread or full-thread hex head geometry by drawing. Pickled and passivated finishes help restore stainless corrosion resistance after forming, machining or heat exposure, and PMI / MTC documentation is often required for offshore and oil and gas procurement.

Selection
Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 bolts are used for splash-zone brackets, secondary steel and marine renewable structures. Common RFQ models include M20 x 100, M24 x 120 and M30 x 160.
Renewable energy fastenersSuper Duplex 2507 / UNS S32750 is selected for severe chloride exposure where higher pitting resistance is needed. Confirm galvanic compatibility with mating nuts, washers and connected materials.
Marine fastenersDuplex hex bolts support selected offshore topside, process skid and corrosion-resistant equipment connections. PMI, MTC and project material approval are commonly requested for these applications.
Oil and gas fastenersM16, M20, M24 and M30 duplex bolts are used for exposed coastal structures, stainless brackets and high-chloride outdoor connections where longer service life is required.

FAQ
Duplex 2205 is considered when the joint needs higher strength and better chloride resistance than common SS316 stainless. Final selection should consider environment, temperature, corrosion class and material compatibility.
Super Duplex 2507 is used for more severe chloride or offshore environments where higher pitting and crevice corrosion resistance is required. Project material approval is recommended before ordering.
Yes. Duplex hex head bolts can be supplied as partial-thread DIN 931 / ISO 4014 or full-thread DIN 933 / ISO 4017 geometry, depending on drawing and size availability.
Common RFQ models include M16 x 80, M20 x 100, M24 x 120, M30 x 160 and M36 x 180. Final length, thread length and material grade should be confirmed by drawing.
Yes. PMI, MTC, heat number traceability, CoC and dimensional inspection reports can be supplied when requested before production or shipment.
