Product Description & Key Specifications
Straight anchor bolts are project-manufactured foundation fasteners used for wind tower bases, steel columns, equipment foundations, structural baseplates and heavy anchoring systems. They are supplied in Q355 or 42CrMo with grade 8.8 / 10.9 strength options and drawing-based dimensions in the M16-M48 project range.
This product is different from post-installed wedge anchors. Straight anchor bolts are typically planned into the foundation design, with specified overall length, embedment, projection, thread length, nut and washer stack, template requirements and hot-dip galvanized corrosion protection. OEM drawings, EN 14399 references or ASTM F1554 references may be used depending on the project.
Hot-dip galvanizing is the standard finish for outdoor foundations and exposed baseplate assemblies. For large anchor bolt packages, the RFQ should confirm material grade, thread length, bend or straight form, washer plate requirement, nut grade, template layout, certificate scope and packaging by foundation set.

Are straight anchor bolts the same as wedge anchors?
No. Straight anchor bolts are normally cast-in or foundation-designed anchors, while wedge anchors are post-installed expansion anchors for drilled holes.
What information is needed for anchor bolt production?
Provide diameter, overall length, thread length, projection, material, grade, finish, nut and washer requirement, drawing and certificate scope.
Can anchor bolts be supplied hot-dip galvanized?
Yes. HDG is common for outdoor foundation bolts, but nut fit and coating thickness should be controlled after galvanizing.
