Product Description

Product Description & Key Specifications

Nickel alloy hex nuts are specified for bolting assemblies exposed to severe corrosion, high temperature, offshore environments and chemical processing conditions. This product range includes Inconel 625 and Inconel 718 nuts to ASTM F467 with ISO 4032 / DIN 934 dimensional references in M8-M48 sizes.

Alloy 625 nuts are commonly chosen for chloride, seawater, sour service review and chemical corrosion resistance. Alloy 718 nuts are selected when higher strength and elevated-temperature capability are specified. The nut alloy, thread fit and certificate scope should match the stud bolt and washer requirements.

Pickled and passivated finish helps provide a clean nickel alloy surface after manufacturing. For critical oil and gas, offshore wind or high-temperature equipment orders, RFQs should confirm alloy, thread, dimensions, PMI, MTC, heat traceability, NACE or project specification requirements and matching hardware.

FAQ

Common Questions Before RFQ

What are Inconel hex nuts used for?

They are used in severe corrosion, offshore, chemical and high-temperature bolting assemblies where matching nickel alloy hardware is required.

Which standard applies to nickel alloy nuts?

ASTM F467 is commonly used for nonferrous nuts, while ISO 4032 and DIN 934 may be used as dimensional references for metric hex nuts.

Should I choose Inconel 625 or Inconel 718?

Inconel 625 is often selected for corrosion resistance, while Inconel 718 is selected for higher strength and elevated-temperature applications. Follow the project material specification.

Can PMI and MTC be supplied?

Yes. PMI, material test certificates, CoC and dimensional inspection reports can be supplied when required.

Can matching studs and washers be supplied?

Yes. Nickel alloy nuts can be supplied with matching Inconel stud bolts and flat washers by alloy, size and certificate requirement.

Need Inconel hex nuts for severe service bolting?

Send alloy, size, thread, standard, finish, quantity, matching stud/washer needs and certificate scope. We can quote Inconel 625 / 718 hex nuts for offshore, oil and gas and high-temperature equipment.
