Product Description & Key Specifications
GFRP composite bolts are non-metallic fasteners used where electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and low weight are required. They are commonly paired with GFRP composite hex nuts and flat washers to create complete non-conductive fastening systems.
Glass fiber reinforced polymer provides better stiffness than unfilled plastic while remaining non-conductive and corrosion-resistant. GFRP bolts are used in renewable energy equipment, power generation support hardware, cable tray systems, electrical isolation structures and corrosive outdoor assemblies. They are not direct replacements for steel bolts unless the joint is designed for composite fasteners.
Project sizes are produced by OEM drawings with ASTM D7957 reference where applicable. UV-stabilized material is selected for outdoor exposure. RFQs should confirm diameter, length, thread form, head style, tensile/load requirement, UV exposure, flame-retardant or dielectric requirement and matching nut/washer needs.
